Progressive Maryland is excited to announce its Annual Gala!
During the cocktail and networking hour from 4-5 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres, an open bar, and participate in a silent art auction. The evening will be highlighted by remarks from Congressman Jamie Raskin. We will hear from a number of other esteemed guest remarks, and our own Larry Stafford will serve as the emcee.
The gala aims to celebrate PMD's accomplishments, discuss legislative victories and new initiatives, and honor the awardees of the afternoon. Beyond being a joyous occasion, the event seeks to foster deeper engagement with PMD allies and their work while also raising funds to support the Progressive Movement in the state.
The format for the evening is as follows:
4-5 p.m.: Cocktail and networking hour with silent art auction
5-5:15 p.m.: Seating for welcome and remarks from honored guests
5:15-6 p.m.: Remarks by various speakers
6-6:45 p.m.: Awards presentation
6:45-7 p.m.: Closing with option to stay and dance!
The event has a semi-formal dress code, and tickets are priced at $150 per person. Young professionals age 25 and under can purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $75. Tickets include all food and drinks, and your purchase of a ticket supports building a better Maryland for all.
