About Progressive Harford County

Progressive Harford County promotes racial, social, economic and environmental justice in Harford County, Maryland. The organization accomplishes this through:

• Utilizing grassroots organizing, public education and legislative advocacy to implement progressive change in Harford

• Electing progressives to represent Harford County at all levels of government

• Collaborating with other organizations in Harford on events, canvassing and legislative advocacy

• Raising money to have the resources to promote progressive causes and candidates in Harford

Progressive Harford is nonpartisan organization, meaning we aren’t affiliated with a political party. We support candidates who share our values and platform.

Progressive Harford County’s parent organization is Progressive Maryland.

Progressive Maryland is a statewide nonprofit advocacy organization promoting racial, social, economic and environmental justice. They are leading the fight for progressive change in Maryland through grassroots organizing, public education, and legislative advocacy. With over 120,000 individual members, supporters, and organizational affiliates statewide, Progressive Maryland has succeeded in educating the public and building popular support to achieve numerous progressive victories.
