The Deadline to Register for MD Sierra Club Lobby Night 2022 is Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 11:59 p.m.!

Make your voice heard! Join us on Thursday, Feb. 3 at 7:30 p.m. to kick off our 2022 lobbying efforts by getting information on our priority bills and legislative agenda.  Then, join us on Monday, Feb. 7 for our Lobby Night, during which you will have a chance to meet virtually with your state legislators. We are asking everyone to join the kickoff event so they are prepared for their meetings on Monday, Feb. 7. Note that some meetings may happen after February 7th. You will be emailed the time of your lobby night meetings closer to the event. The kickoff and lobby meetings will be virtual. You will receive links to the kickoff and lobby meetings by email prior to the events.

This year we will be working to support an environmental human rights amendment to the Maryland Constitution, an ambitious climate package that will put the state on a path to net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2045, and expansions to Maryland’s natural lands and urban parks, and more!

Personally lobbying your elected officials is one of the most powerful actions you can take to make positive changes for our environment!
